Vault Tour Vietnam 2026 - The last but not the end
Updated: Aug 23

So, it has been three years of organizing Vault Tours in Vietnam.
Sometimes I sit back and think about the entire journey we’ve been through over the years—how many friends have been there, how many events we’ve organized, and all the ups and downs along the way.
Some of you may have already heard the rumors, but the truth is that this year will be the final year we organize a Vault Tour in Vietnam. It’s difficult to say anything with absolute certainty. Maybe some kind of miracle will happen next year. But for now, the KeyForge Vietnam team has had to make a decision. We simply don’t have enough players to sustain the event.
And knowing that this would be our last one, I didn’t hold anything back. I poured everything I had into making this year as spectacular as possible!!!
Thanks to the idea of organizing a trip after the event, as well as the genuine support and friendship of so many people, this year we welcomed nearly 50 players from all over the world.
And just like previous years, we held all three formats. Each format took place on a different day, giving everyone the chance to play as much KeyForge as possible!

Alliance
No matter the format, PV remained a dominant force.
Whether it was the Season 7 era running rampant, or this year with PV seemingly everywhere, I’ve had people tell me to play Alliance because the format is supposed to be less oppressive than Archon. But every time I actually try it, I honestly don’t feel much of a difference. Whatever set is strong remains strong, and whatever set is toxic remains toxic.
More than half of the players brought PV.
It was also great to see the newest set, Draconic Measures, become the second most represented set. Perhaps partly because it was the newest release, and partly because many Vietnamese players simply wanted to test themselves with it.
With 39 players competing in Alliance, the Top 8 was quickly determined after half a day of competition. Unsurprisingly, all eight decks were PV.
And reigning Archon World Champion Willy510 proved his skill once again, taking down the Alliance title with an Untamed loop deck capable of completely locking down his opponents using a Traumatic Echo with an Untamed house enhancement. He played 反對的布朗森
Bryangogo from Hong Kong took second place with GGWP
NHCuong,PV. VT2026 and siinai, Javabad, Bá Tước Bi Quan finished in the Top 4.
Wei Do 2026 VN VT alliance1, threecheck Tribute Of A Soldier, tranhoaibao Bao the Conqueror, and SCSteel Punc got Thunk’d Twice rounded out the Top 8.

Sealed
Day 2 was Sealed day.
It was a day full of interesting surprises, partly because of the nature of the Sealed format itself. But, as always, good players still managed to achieve good results.
With 54 players competing on Day 2, the final standings were:
drkid took the championship.
closedalpha finished second.
The Top 4 included NHCuong and Bryangogo.
The Top 8 included Barry347, Emperor Riku, not2night, and dhoong.

Archon
The final day was also the most anticipated: Archon.
With 43 players competing, PV continued to dominate, although perhaps slightly less brutally than in Alliance.

After six intense rounds of competition, the Top 8 consisted of six PV decks, one AS deck, and one GR deck.
And the 2026 KeyForge Vietnam Vault Tour Archon Champion is:
Emperor Riku, with a Season 9 tempo-lockdown deck: Plutotend, the “Culprit” of Ambition
Second place went to Serotonin, who won two Vault Champion trophies last year. He pilots 收集硫的播音員
The Top 4 included dhoong, Triệu Diệp Gai Góc and Isfet, Người Rừng Sứa Biển.
The Top 8 included Willy510 戰鬥潮流之記錄者羅, omegamon Phú Ánh Thờ Phụng Cực Tệ, Ewokjr Swordsman Charavaaha, the Bookish, and lqdsquash Thuần Lo Lắng, Ghê Tởm Hình Học.

A Special Celebration
To be completely honest, although we promoted the side events quite heavily, there were many things that didn’t go as planned, probably due to shortcomings in our organization.
However, Vault Tour Vietnam 2026 was also honored to host a small celebration commemorating Isfet and Ellimac’s 10 years together.
Both of them are long-time KeyForge players who have achieved a great deal and contributed so much to the KeyForge community.

There are still so many things left to tell. There was even an entire eventful week of adventures that followed the Vault Tour.
But for now, this is where the Vault Tour Vietnam 2026 recap comes to an end.
Because every party eventually has to end, and sooner or later, every journey comes with a goodbye, KeyForge Vietnam would like to sincerely thank everyone who came to support Vault Tour Vietnam this year—and everyone who supported us throughout all the years before.
We also want to thank those who couldn’t be there in person but still supported the event in one way or another.
This event could never have happened without all of you.
I tried very hard to prepare a surprise announcement for everyone, but for various reasons, it has been delayed.
So, if you’re wondering whether this is the end of KeyForge in Vietnam, the answer is no.
We will continue to play.We will continue to organize events. And we will continue to love KeyForge.
See you all at the next events!!
Let’s take a look at some photos from the event!
